Mini leaf puzzle

The mini leaf puzzle is made up of a wooden frame with rounded corners, in the centre of which is carved the outline of a leaf that allows the various joints that make it up to be placed inside. The joints are made of birch wood and hand-painted, all equipped with knobs that allow an easy grip to properly handle the parts and their observation and to facilitate the fine motor skills of the hand in order to favour, in addition, the grip of the writing instrument. The manual activity favours sensory memory, allows opportunities for experiences that follow real activities or stimulate exploration of the environment. The puzzle provides scientific knowledge, in this case related to biology, supports the development of language, facilitates the study of the leaf, which is fundamental for recognising and naming all its parts: leaf, stipule, petiole, lamina, base, margin, apex, rib.
