The leaf-only box is a set of four drawers, containing twenty-four tiles of different types of leaves. When the child is familiar with the individual parts of the leaf, a knowledge acquired with the leaf box, one moves on to the presentation of the drawers containing the leaves according to shape and margin. Thanks to the accuracy of the material, the child comes to consider the relationships between one figure and another and their differences. It is a material that provides scientific knowledge, in this case related to botany, helps to cultivate sensitivity to nature and encourages the development of language.
