Leaf kit

The kit is designed to allow the child to work in complete autonomy and discover, in a simple and pleasant way, the scientific characteristics of the leaf.
The puzzle is made up of a wooden frame with "soft" rounded corners and a leaf outline carved in the centre, which allows the various leaf joints to be placed inside. The joints are made of wood and hand-painted, and all have knobs that allow an easy grip for proper handling and observation of the parts and to facilitate fine motor skills in the hand. The special grip of the knob also introduces the child to the correct grip of the pencil. Manual activity promotes sensory memory, allows for experiences that follow on from real activities and stimulates exploration of the environment. The jigsaw puzzle provides scientific knowledge, in this case related to biology, which helps, in addition to language development, to be able to name and recognise all the parts of the leaf: margin, lamina, vein, petiole.
