Seed kit

The kit is designed to allow children to work in complete autonomy and discover, in a simple and enjoyable way, the scientific characteristics of the seed, the organ indispensable for the survival of the species.
The puzzle is made up of a wooden frame with "soft" rounded corners and a carved outline of a seed in the centre that allows the various joints that make up the frame to be placed inside. The joints are made of wood and hand-painted, and all have knobs that allow an easy grip for proper handling and observation of the parts and to facilitate fine motor skills in the hand. The special grip of the knob also introduces the child to the correct grip of the pencil. Manual activity promotes sensory memory, allows for experiences that follow on from real activities and stimulates exploration of the environment. The puzzle provides scientific knowledge, in this case related to biology, which helps, in addition to language development, to be able to name and recognise all the parts of the plant: cotyledon, tegument, bud, rootlet.
