The kit is designed to allow the child to work in complete autonomy and discover, in a simple and pleasant way, the scientific characteristics of the African artiodactyl mammal, as well as the tallest living land animal and the largest existing ruminant.
The jigsaw puzzle consists of a wooden frame with rounded corners and a giraffe silhouette carved into the centre, allowing the various joints to be placed inside. The joints are made of wood and hand-painted, and all have knobs that allow an easy grip to properly handle the parts and to facilitate fine motor skills in the hand. Manual activity favours sensory memory, allows for experiences that follow on from real activities or stimulate exploration of the environment. Interlocking allows the provision of scientific knowledge, in this case related to zoology. It supports the development of language and facilitates the recognition of all parts of the animal.
It consists of:
- giraffe puzzle
- presentation e-book
- mute control map
- cards for giraffe parts
- classified nomenclature (mute and spoken - 9 x 11.3 cm)
Handcrafted product made in Italy with certified raw materials.
Recommended from 3 years of age. The joints (head, neck, paws, tail, etc.) are hand-painted in yellow and brown, with luxens water-based paints with reduced environmental impact, ecolabel certified. All materials and knobs are made of wood. Useful for starting the study of science and for exploring and learning about the animal world.
