The Interlocking Planisphere is a geographic puzzle, made entirely of birch wood, useful for the discovery and knowledge of geography. The basic frame, with the geographical borders highlighted, contains the continents equipped with knobs to facilitate manipulation and fine motor skills in the hand, useful for correctly gripping the pencil. The game encourages sensory activity of sight and touch and the memorisation of the various shapes of the continents. The game stimulates the ability to concentrate, helps to know and memorise positions and names of the continents. The game-work can be implemented and deepened with the use of control maps, which are used to check the correspondence of the continents and learn their names.
