The Oceans puzzle is a geographical puzzle, made entirely of birch wood, useful for discovering and learning about geography. The basic frame, on which the planisphere is painted, with the line of the Equator highlighted to separate North and South, contains the oceans equipped with knobs to facilitate manipulation and fine motor skills in the hand, useful for correct pencil grip. The game encourages sensory activity of sight and touch and the memorisation of the position and name of the oceans. The game-work can be implemented and deepened with the use of control maps to check the correspondence of the oceans and learn their names.
