Geometric solids

The small geometric solids, made of wood, are an effective and fun sensory game that helps to recognise different shapes and initiates knowledge of solid geometry. The solids are contained in a wooden box and are painted in light blue. The game consists of recognising ten solids: cylinder, cone, cube, prism and pyramid with a square base, prism and pyramid with a triangular base, sphere, ovoid, ellipsoid. The box also contains three wooden supports for solids without a base and seven cards with the outlines of the figures. Observing and touching solids, even with your eyes closed, is a muscular and sensory exercise that helps you recognise the shape and size of objects.
