Sensorial memory is a useful game for the education of the tactile sense. The material, made entirely of wood, consists of a board containing ten circular cavities with different tactile surfaces, graduated from smooth to rough, corresponding to ten small cylinders. The game consists of sensory recognition of the surfaces and finding the same cylinders, facilitating the recognition of contrasts. The child, after having acquired the ability to recognise the equalities, also with the use of a blindfold, learns the names of the surfaces, developing, in addition, attention and concentration.
Sensorial memory: consisting of a set of objects "grouped according to a certain physical quality" - weight, temperature, size, shape, color, sound, surface; perfecting the perception of each sense encourages exploration and knowledge. AGE: from about fifteen months. The board and cylinders are made of wood, the surfaces are graduated from smooth to rough. The senses, "windows on the world", accompany development. The sensorial memory game is useful for recognizing surfaces and refining the tactile sense.
