Iliana is the CEO&Co-Funder of Boboto. She graduated in Communication Sciences from the University of Perugia and in 2014 she also took a Master's degree in "Coordination of Childhood Educational Services" at the "Centro Studi Montessori" of the University of Roma Tre .

 

In 2017 she was the winner of the Reggio Children Foundation's call for proposals "The Reggio Emilia educational experience and the craft approach to digital" and in 2019 she obtained a postgraduate diploma in the Montessori method for preschools. Since 2013 she has been a promoter and volunteer manager of the Education Section of the "Conversations on the Future" Festival in Lecce and co-founder of "Coderdojo Lecce."

 

She is a speaker for national events and courses on Montessori pedagogy and SteAm with a Montessori approach. She has written two books for the series "Play and Learn with the Montessori Method," edited by Grazia Honegger Fresco, a text for the book "The Montessori Method, Today," published by Erickson, and numerous articles for various digital trade publications.

 

She currently serves only as a supervisor of the Boboto team as she is focused in researching educational issues as a PhD student for the PhD "Education, Languages, Cultures" at LUMSA University in Rome, coordinated by Prof. Raniero Regni.
