The fish puzzle consists of a wooden frame with rounded corners, in the centre of which is carved the outline of a fish, allowing the various joints that make up the frame to be placed inside. The joints are made of wood and hand-painted, and all have knobs that allow an easy grip to properly handle the parts and to facilitate the fine motor skills of the hand. The manual activity favours sensory memory, allows opportunities for experiences that foster curiosity and a desire to know. The puzzle provides scientific knowledge, in this case related to zoology, supports language development, facilitates the study of the fish animal, which is fundamental for recognising and naming all its parts.
