Small button frame

The small button frame is a useful material for developing independence. The loom is a wooden square, and on its two sides there are two rectangles of fabric on the left and right that can be buttoned. The game is intended to help children to dress themselves, since the loom can be used to reproduce the whole series of complex movements that need to be carried out in order to button buttons. The aim is to provide the child, or the adult who needs to rehabilitate this type of movement, with the means to practise safe hand movements. The frame facilitates useful exercise in wrist movement, eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills. The game responds to the child's need for self-reliance and independence.
