The second colour fuse box is made entirely of birch wood. It contains eleven pairs of boards, equal in quality but different in colour: yellow, red, blue, pink, purple, green, orange, brown, white, grey and black. The two ends of the fuses have a wooden edge which makes them easier to grip and to manipulate, without touching the coloured part. The spools allow, thanks to the possibility of putting 11 colours together, a visual education in colour contrast. The child, after having acquired the ability to recognise equalities, learns the names of the colours and also develops attention and concentration.

The colours in the second box are: yellow, red, blue, pink, purple, green, orange, brown, white, grey and black. The spools and the box are made of birch wood. They can be used from about 30 months to 5 years of age. The material is very useful for educators, teachers and parents who want to adopt effective teaching strategies to teach colour recognition. The spools are hand-painted with environmentally friendly Luxens water-based paints with "Ecolabel" certification.
