The circle puzzle is a game consisting of a basic frame containing three grooves in which three light blue circles are placed: one whole, one divided into two parts, one divided into four. Using this material, the child can manipulate the figure, learning first by sensory means and then also by name, the parts of the circle in its entirety and in its first divisible parts. From a very young age, the child "absorbs" the shape and becomes able to recognise it in the surrounding reality. Proceeding by trial and error to find the right position of the joints so as to make up the circle helps to carry out problem solving activities and exercises eye-hand coordination.
Sensory material 0-3: consisting of a set of objects "grouped according to a certain physical quality" - weight, temperature, size, shape, colour, sound, etc. - perfecting the perception of each sense encourages exploration and knowledge. The game can be used from around 20 months to 3 years of age. The circles are hand-painted in light blue with environmentally friendly, "Ecolabel" certified Luxens water-based paints. The base frame and shapes are made of birch wood. The circle puzzle can be used in various play contexts and is also a very useful teaching aid.
