The golden pearl units are a sensory material of psycho-arithmetic that represents the number 1, and therefore unity, in its physicality and geometric characteristics: a dimensionless point. In its simplicity, it allows an immediate understanding of the concept of spatial dimension. The child starts from the unit (single pearl) that represents the dimensionless point, then moves on to the golden stick of the ten, which represents the one-dimensional line, then to the square of the 100 in two dimensions and finally to the cube, in three dimensions.
Age 5+ - psycho-arithmetic material. The beads are made of transparent plastic and contained in a transparent bag.
