The blue and yellow wooden insets, originally made of iron, are designed as a material for indirect preparation for writing, because once the child is indirectly prepared to perform all the movements necessary for writing, writing will no longer present any difficulties; moreover, it is a material that allows for gradual conquests to be made independently, because with the repetition of the exercise, the outlines become parallel and the filling lines no longer come out of the outlines. Indirectly, this material also serves the purpose of educating the colour sense, and provides help in understanding geometric drawing.
Age from 3 years. The material, made entirely of birch wood, consists of two sets of interlocking geometric figures: the blue inner figures are fitted with a turned beech wood grip knob and fit perfectly into a 14x14 cm square birch wood tile coloured yellow or natural. The first series consists of 5 regular polygonal geometric figures; the second series consists of curvilinear geometric figures.
